We had a pretty good weekend!!

This weekend went by so fast! Don't you just hate when that happens?? On Saturday Ezri and I went to a diaper shower! It was really fun, we went to a restaurant called the broken yolk cafe. It was pretty good if i do say so myself! Apparently they've been on the show man vs. food They have this insane platter for $25 that consists of A dozen-egg omelet filled with mushrooms, onions, American cheese and smothered with chili and more cheese. On the other half of a 15-inch pizza pan is a generous pile of home fries and two biscuits!! This thing WAS MASSIVE!!! A table behind us ordered about 5 of these...it was pretty funny watching them try and finish this within one hour (if you finish it within the hour its free!) Then Saturday evening we stayed home and watched movies and just had a family night! I LOVED IT!

On Sunday we attended church and it was absolutely AMAZING! I have never felt more welcomed and at home! City Bible Church San Diego is such an amazing church, the people there are so nice and welcoming! I am happy to say that I'm positive that we found our church!!!!!

Memorial day was pretty good, We were supposed to go to sea world but decided to go on the weekend instead! So we ended up going to a pot luck at one of the church member's house! It was awesome! We got to see down town San Diego from the balcony and we got to get to know some of the members a little bit more!! Unfortunately there was a fire down the way that cause quite a bit of smoke to come towards us...Ezri was tired already and we decided it was time to go especially since the smoke was super thick and was already burning my eyes...So we needed to get the baby out of the smoke ASAP! Overall it was an AMAZING weekend!!!

Day 12- A picture of Something you love!

Well of course I am going to say my family! I love them with all my heart! They are what gets me going, and well of course my lord and savior!!
But this challenge calls for something, not someone, so with all that being said, I have to say the something i love would have to be pickles!!! And only a certain kind of pickle lol and that's best maid hamburger dill pickles from Texas well i guess any dill pickle will do..except vlasic, i really dont like those at all!! Every time we go to Texas we always come back with at least 2 jars of pickles!! I have to make them last!! But now that i've had my daughter she loves pickles too and steals them away from me so now i HAVE to SHARE!! Which is fine with me!! My mouth gets watery just thinking about them haha man i need to go buy some!

Where to begin on things I "hate" This is actually a very tough one for me because I hate very little things! But if i had to choose something i guess it would have to be cockroaches!! They are so hard to get rid of and they smell TERRIBLE!! I mean i hate spiders and snakes because they scare the life out of me but i just absolutely HATE cockroaches!! Honestly just thinking of them right now is making me all itchy!!! YUCK!!!! I seriously dont even want to put a picture up of cockroaches but i guess i have to lol! Enjoy this gross picture!!

Well all things considered, I'm not much of a partier or anything so my ****'d up stuff is basically staying home with the family and laughing so hard we almost pee our pants! So I would have to say that my family are the people i do the most crazy stuff with!!

Day 09- A picture of the person who has gotten you through the most

(I just want to state that i have always gone to my mother for everything, but that's what moms are for right? To be there for you when you need them and to tell you things straight up, or to just make you laugh when you are feeling down right? This is why i didn't put a picture of my mom up but I just wanted to acknowledge her!!)

I put a picture of the one person who has gotten me through the most and That is my WONDERFUL husband Christopher. I have been through quite a lot during the past 8 years i've been with my husband and he has been my rock, my shoulder to cry on, and my very best friend! He has been there through the most fun times and the most tragic of times, for instance, when my brother-in-law passed away. Chris drove us to el paso, Texas to be there for my sister and her kids. Never once did he complain about the 12 hour drive or anything! He is always so kind and when things get rough he is the one person who can just make things better! He is such a great support and i am so lucky to have him in my life! God has blessed me with a truly amazing husband and father to our daughter!  My husband takes his vows seriously, as do i, For better or for worse, through sickness and in health, for richer or poorer, til death do us part! He will always be the one who is there for me, as i will always be the one there for him!

This picture was taken at balboa park during our walk for march of dimes! I think this couple thought it was the breast cancer walk because they were walking with HUGE boobs on their backs!! I couldn't help but laugh when i saw this and immediately had to take a picture of it!! I still laugh when i see this!

Well I wanted to put a picture of my family up but thats not an item now is it? So instead I am putting up a picture of something that means so much to me! Which is my husband and my wedding rings. They symbolize so much of our relationship, its our commitment to ourselves and to God that we will always be there for each other and love each other through sickness and health, for richer or poorer, till death do us part! Even though this is just a ring it means so much more to me then that! Its a lifetime commitment of love, respect, honor, and truth! Its what makes us who we are today! after much deliberation I decided that I would LOVE to trade places for a day with Josh Gates!! 
He is the best narrator i've ever heard and he gets to do awesome things!! If you haven't seen destination truth you're definitely missing out! He gets to explore all over the world looking for "mythical creatures" or "paranormal activity"  which i would love to try just once!! He's absolutely hilarious and his show is definitely in my top 5 favorite!

 I have many favorite shows but none compare to Modern Family!! This show can make me laugh so hard and even at times make me cry! If i'm having a bad Wednesday once 9 o clock comes i'm feeling much much better! This show is HILARIOUS!! If you haven't seen it yet i recommend it for sure!!!

TANGLED!!!

Ezri is ABSOLUTELY in love with tangled!! She has had me watch it over 20 times..and to be honest, I LOVE IT! This movie is such a great family movie! I definitely recommend it for anyone who hasn't seen it! Today was a lazy day, the weather was rainy and so Ezri and I snuggled on the couch under the covers and watched...well you guess it! Tangled! I was amazed at how my daughter just sits through this movie from beginning to end. I captured a picture of her laying down and watching it!

Eventually she fell asleep! Well we both did lol. Hope everyone's day was a great as mine!!!

I love my Ezri Annabella Sanchez!!

Having a sick baby is no fun

On sunday my daughter was  so sick, I felt so helpless and sad I didn't know what to do. Its so hard when your child gets sick at a young age because they cant tell you what hurts or anything. My daughter ended up with a fever of 102.2 my poor baby...But thank the good lord he healed her the next morning! She wasn't running fever anymore and she was back to her old self! GOD IS GOOD!!!

Okay so I had a cake to make for one of my husband's co-workers....I honestly didn't like the outcome of it but when i took it to my husband to give to his co-worker he said that she thought it was PERFECT! It was a FABULOUS cake...Well if she is happy with it then thats all i could ask for! Here is a picture of it!

First order for a cake!!

I have my first cake order and i'm very nervous yet excited to do it! I'm nervous because its my very first cake that someone ordered but I am excited to see the outcome! Its going to be a lacrosse cake for one of chris' co-workers!  I will post pictures tomorrow as soon as its done! Wish me luck!!!

God has a new Angel

My heart is heavy today, I am so full of different emotions right now...But I learned at church on Sunday that during our most difficult times we need to hold on to our faith even more and not ask why? but to accept it and trust our lord. God took a beautiful woman from our lives on Sunday. He called her home to his beautiful kingdom. She was loved by many, she was like a grandmother to me. Janie Soliz was one of the most kind hearted people I have ever met. She never turned anyone away and loved with all her might! She is an Angel now and I'm content with knowing she is watching over us. She was one of the most amazing persons i've ever had the privilege of knowing! I am honored to have had the chance to have her in my life!

Unfortunately she lost her battle with breast cancer.
This is one of the reasons, I cant stress it enough, to get yourself checked because it could happen to anyone of us. Please I beg you, please get yourself checked because it might just save your life!! 

Janie you will forever be missed but I know this wont be the last time we ever see you! You're with God now and I know you're not in pain and are watching over us! Rest in peace beautiful angel!!

Pink Ribbon!

As you probably noticed my background layout is of the breast cancer ribbon, unfortunately my aunt Gracie was diagnosed with breast cancer. She is truly inspiring to me because even though she has this cancer she doesn't let it run her life. I know she is such a strong woman and a strong fighter because she has God on her side! So if you are ever in a store and they ask for donations for breast cancer, why not give? Everyday people get this awful cancer and need all the help they can get! So donate today, you could just save a precious life!! That being said this is a picture of my beautiful aunt gracie, she is standing with my other aunt susan, she is the one with the bandana on her head. Unfortunately the chemo took all of her hair :( but she is still beautiful to me!!

I'm hoping to do the 3 day walk next year!!!

Catching up!

Like the title says...I'm Catching UP on this blog! A lot has happened in the past couple of days.
We had an amazing dinner with our lovely friends Michelle, James, and Beautiful Chloe Darling Schmitz! We caught up and chatted and it was a great time! I hope they had a great time too!

On Saturday May 7th we attended a beautiful surprise mother's day/ birthday party for my mother-in-law's aunt. It was great seeing so many people there, they even had a Mariachi band come and play! I am posting some pictures of it!

Cinco De Mayo!!

Well I decided to dress Ezri up in a traditional Mexican Dress for Cinco De Mayo! Needless to say, She looked absolutely ADORABLE!!!

Haven't updated in a few days.

Well I haven't been on here for a couple of days. I have been a little busy with the princess! My life basically consists of watching bubble guppies like 30 times a day, luckily i get to watch my shows when the little one is asleep! I guess I have my "mommy time" at like midnight or later! But I can't complain, God has blessed me with such an amazing family and I couldn't ask for more! Although I did find time yesterday to make a cake

 

I was trying to go for a Zebra print and well i dont think it came out that bad lol.

I find that when I make cakes it releases stress for me until I get mad when something goes wrong while baking lol. 

Today Ezri and I were outside playing with chalk for the first time, 

I think she got more on her pants then on the cement! I was realizing today how much she has grown, and I started to get really sad :( She's only 16 months but yet I feel as though she's 10 years old! Everything she does amazes me and she learns so quickly! She already counts to 3 and today she was starting to say her name! She also learned that when i put the leashes on the dogs they're supposed to sit and so she was telling them to sit! I swear these months have gone by so fast and I feel like I'm going to blink my eyes and next thing I know she's going to graduate high school!

While I was cleaning and doing laundry today my little one decided to play with the clean laundry...Needless to say she found a very comfortable spot on the ground with it

lol shes so silly, she fell asleep playing with the laundry. This is the first time she's ever fallen asleep in a random spot!

just one of those...bleh kind of days

I have been having such a bleh kind of day today...I dont know what the heck is wrong with me but its annoying the heck out of me right now! I wish i knew what was wrong! I feel sad/depressed/tired and i'm not sure why...I just feel like crying for no reason...I hope this passes and passes fast! Bleh
