Here comes the bride!!!
Well as i stated before on my previous blog, me and my husband had our first date at this marina in chula vista, california. So what better way to celebrate our love then to get married in the same spot where we had our first date!! Above is the picture of our layout and the ceremony site!
Here is how my fairytale went :)
October 27, 2007
I stayed the night at my mothers house, well because you know, the bride and groom aren't supposed to see each other till the wedding day right? Anyways It was time to get my makeup done up and time to put on my dress and my Mom did my hair. Unfortunately i don't have pictures of me getting dressed or getting my makeup done but thats okay I'll always have my memories that are etched into my brain lol.
*On a side note*
During the week we were hit with some of the worst fires we've had in San Diego, So we didn't know if we were going to be able to get married or not. We had all of our stuff packed into our car incase we needed to evacuate. A lot of people weren't able to make it to our wedding but that sure didn't stop us from getting married!!
I arrived in the car!! My dad drove me to the wedding site and I had so much butterflies in my stomach i thought i'd throw up lol. Well when we were driving over to the marina it started to sprinkle...I was thinking, great this is all i need, its going to rain on our wedding day.... I was trying my hardest not to cry as i pulled up but everything didn't matter when i saw him
I knew at that moment i wasn't going to let anything ruin this day because I was going to become his wife!!
Well it was time

In this moment i was feeling as though my knees were about to buckle!! And of course as i'm walking down the isle it starts to rain...
My stepdad giving me away! And the funny thing about this is after he gave me away...IT STOPPED RAINING!! lol i like to think it was God crying happy tears :)

Okay so my husband and I will be having our 8 year anniversary on August 11!! Honestly its been the best 8 years of my life! Lets be honest, our meeting was pretty darn amazing considering we met in a chat room on yahoo, (when chat rooms still existed lol) Here is our little story! Hope you enjoy it!
Well it all started when i was 17, I was in a yahoo music chat room talking to my best friend Carla! When i get a message from systemofadownguy84 asking me the basic a/s/l...I was hesitant at first, I always was considering there were a lot of perverts on chat, but i decided to talk to him. Low and behold what a coincidence we lived about 20 miles from each other haha. We exchanged im's for a while and then it lead up to telephone numbers. I was working at the great and awesome schnitzhut!!
To those of you who don't know what that is...its Weinerschnitzel! So one day I get a phone call asking me if I would like to meet up...needless to say I really wanted to but was super afraid! Well I decided okay, why not? I told him to come to my work and we could chat while i was on a break and he said Okay! I remember that day like it was yesterday, I was in the back making chili dogs and wrapping them up when I just so happened to look up at the right time. In walks in the most freaking HOTT guy i'd ever seen...needless to say if there was a fly flying around it probably would've landed in my mouth, thats how wide open my mouth was lol. My friend Tiffany was standing beside me giving me the ooohhh noise and whatnot, making me blush!!! Here i was covered in a mustard stained shirt and I smelled like freaking hot dogs, great! I'm not lying when I say that my knees were about to buckle when i finally decided to go over to him. I walked up to the counter and just stood there like an idiot lol. I finally said hi and he said hi and we smiled at each other! I told my boss that i was going to go on my 10 min break and we walked outside and had a great 10 min. conversation! I was amazed at how comfortable we were talking to each other! So we talked quite a bit on the phone after I got home, and he asked me to go to the movies with him! My REAL first date!!! Needless to say when the night came for the date my mother was DEFINITELY going to drive me...We decided to meet up at my work so my mom could meet him, and that was pretty awkward...She asked to see his license, asked him a few questions, and oh yeah took down his license plate and the color of his truck! I was just waiting for her to ask for his social security lol! I know she was doing the right thing though, just making sure I wasn't with some crazy killer so I am very grateful for that! Well considering that Chris didn't know my part of town too well we got lost going to the movies, so he decided to take me to the J street marina! this is what it looks like in the daytime. 
We walked and found a bench to sit on and just talked, then we walked down close to the water and sat down and talked some more. I have to say that was the most romantical and most beautiful date evar! My curfew was midnight and he got me home at 11:45. After we said goodnight I walked into my house and closed the door and just stood there with a HUGE grin on my face!! My mom must have heard me come in, she met me at the top of the stairs with a nice hot cup of hot cocoa and sat on my bed ready to hear how my night went. It was the best night of my life!
We talked everyday and I was LOVING it! One day, which was August 11, 2003, I received a phone call from Chris. He was on his lunch break and decided to call me! Apparently someone walked by him and asked him if he was talking to his (well basically they made a heart shape with their hands) and he said yes and i was confused because he said yes out of nowhere and I wasn't following lol. He then told me that someone had asked if he was talking to his girlfriend and he told me that he said yes, so then he had asked me if i would be his gf and i pretty much jumped up and down saying YES! My mom was so confused and I told her i'd tell her later! So we officially became boyfriend and girlfriend! Then we saw each other later that night and it was just so amazing!!
So there you have it, that is how me and my husband met! <3
