I loved my job, especially taking care of the elderly and the sick! But for some reason when i walked into work that day i just started crying!! I don't know why but i was balling my eyes out!! I called my husband and was telling him about my morning when i started to cry more!! The prior months before we were trying to conceive and nothing was happening, i kept taking pregnancy test after pregnancy test and they were all Negative. All of my friends kept telling me to go buy one that day and I kept telling them no! I didn't want to get my hopes up since all the others were negative, and besides i was already a mess from crying! But they convinced me to do it and so I went on my lunch break. I stopped at jack in the box to get lunch and headed to walgreens to get the test. When i returned to work I went and put my lunch down and went to the bathroom. I was so hesitant to do this but God told me it was going to be okay, and I knew that if it said no i would have the strength to get through it again. Well lets just say those were the longest 2 minutes of MY LIFE!!! As i was pacing the bathroom i was terrified to read the test...I took a deep breath, walked over to the test, picked it up and opened my eyes..To my surprise, it said, PREGNANT!!!! I ran out of the bathroom crying tears of joy! The funny thing about that was all my co-workers were waiting for me outside the bathroom to hear the news!! I was crying and jumping up and down and just beaming with joy! My friends all gathered around me and hugged me and congratulated me and cried with me! It was sooo awesome! I immediately went to the doctor to make sure i was 100% pregnant! And Yup i sure was!! Now around this time I called everybody! EXCEPT my husband! I wanted to do something cute for him to tell him that he was going to be a daddy! So i went to the store and bought a baby bib saying "I love daddy" on it and put it on top of the paper saying I was pregnant. So when we got home I told him he had mail waiting for him on the table from his school loan. Needless to say it didn't go as planned...He saw the bib and moved it to the side and kept looking for his loan papers...I finally got irritated and told him to read the paper saying i was pregnant! Well He kind of looked a little confused at first but then He was just beaming with excitement!! We called EVERYONE this time and let them know we were going to be parents!! Even though it was a day after mothers day, that was the best pre mothers day gift EVER!!
So thats how i found out we were going to have a beautiful baby!!

Well the pregnancy went pretty well, although my doctor thought it best that i not work while pregnant. I had caught an infection called MRSA while working at the nursing home, So after much deliberation we decided it best that i stay home.
The months actually went by pretty darn fast, I was in HEAVEN! I could eat whatever I wanted and i didn't feel guilty lol. Lots of people didn't notice that i was pregnant. I guess thats because i lost over 25 pounds during the pregnancy.
This is a picture of me when i was about 7 months pregnant and it was halloween time and well they just dont make maternity costumes! So i decided to make one for us that year and we went as Humpty dumpty
I had a surprise baby shower at my mother-in-law's sisters house. It was beautiful! I felt so loved this day and would like to share a couple of pictures with you :)
I cried like a baby at the end of it, I just had such an overwhelming feeling of love and happiness!! We took way more pictures but i dont think this page could hold that many ;)
We had a christmas party to go to on December 18, 2009 so we decided to go and have a good time..heres a couple of pictures from that night!
We had decided on the name Ezri Annabella for our baby girl and well we wanted to name her something that you dont hear everyday! I really liked the name Isabella but since twilight came out EVERYONE was naming their kid Isabella lol So we went through baby names and Ezri just stood out and we knew that was going to be her name! Annabella also stood out to us and we loved it! So we had a name!!
My due date was January 11th and well my mom was excited about it because her birthday is on the 13th! Needless to say January couldn't come fast enough! That was until we went to the town of Julian! My husband, my friend Kristi and I all went to this small mining town to go and look around for christmas presents and whatnot! This was on December 20, 2009
We ate at a really cute restaurant and walked around the shops...That's when
I had a "contraction" I just thought eh..its just a braxton hicks no worries!! Well we were walking and decided it was time to head home! I felt another braxton hicks and thought well thats kind of awkward! I remember that my doctor told me if i had more that 5 in a 10 minute period to go to the hospital and well 3 others came on strong but i figured I was okay and so we went to walmart and looked for some wrapping paper! Then we decided to go to a little place called Deja Vu which sold well adult stuff, My friend Kristi wanted to buy some gag gifts for her boyfriend! Well when we got there we were walking around and There was a huge set of stairs! All of the sudden I got this rush of energy and bolted up the stairs!! I felt amazing! When we left we went and grabbed some burritos and went home! Well after my friend kristi left I had gone to the bathroom and well lets just say I KNOW I DID NOT PEE MY PANTS!! So we went to the hospital and they said that my water broke but sent me home and told me they would probably see me in the morning. So we went home went to sleep and I woke up bright and early and I was skyping with my siter in law who lives in England! I noticed all the presents weren't wrapped so while we chatted I was wrapping presents! She told me not to go into labor and I just laughed at her. Well all the presents were wrapped and Chris finally got up. I told him i was going to take a shower and we were going to walk around the mall to try and get this baby girl to drop down! Well as I was getting out of the shower I dried my legs but they kept on getting wet...well all be darn it was TIME!! I called chris in the bathroom and we got dressed and headed to the hospital! Yup my water broke and I was going into labor! They got me a room which was super small until they had a clean room for me! I went into labor on the 21st but was only dialating to 4 cm...
my contractions were happening every 2 minutes and i was still only 4 cm. The doctor came in and told me that it was a high possibility that i would have to have a c-section! I was thinking to myself, as long as she's okay then i would be fine with whatever happens! So they said they'd come back in an hour and go from there. I was given an epidural to calm the contractions and that was AMAZING!! lol I felt fine and decided to go to sleep, so some of the family came in and said hello and took chris to eat some food. My poor hubby hadn't really eaten since we got there! When he came back i was feeling good! We slept some more and thats when it happened...All of the sudden I couldn't hear Ezri's heartbeat! I woke Chris up and told him I couldn't hear her!!! Then the doctor came rushing in and looked at the machine and then checked me and i was still only 4cm...It was time, my doctor told me that she needed to come out because her heart rate fell. It finally settled in that they were going to take her out through c-section and thats when i started to panic and started crying! They got Chris dressed up in his scrubs and were medicating me. We went into a very bright room and they gave me some medicine that tasted HORRIBLE!! I remember it like it was yesterday...I could feel just a tiny bit of pressure and all of a sudden I heard the most AMAZING, BEAUTIFUL, ANGELIC VOICE! I heard my daughter!!

After they took her out my husband went and was watching her every move. The nurse was telling me what was going on and all of the sudden i felt very sick! I puked into my hair and in my eye!! It was TERRIBLE lol but knowing that i was about to be able to hold my daughter made it all better!! Finally after they fixed me up I got to hold my beautiful little angel that god blessed me with!
I hope you enjoyed hearing the story of my pregnancy! Its one of the best times of my life!! I was truly blessed!! And I'm Still BLESSED!!
